Gift receipt request
I gave a memorial gift to the Salvation Army center in Greenwood, SC two months ago. I never received a gift receipt from this center now did I receiver a notice that my memorial gift was ever notified by the party to be notified. All that I know is that my check was deposited to the Greenwood SA account. It is impossible to find a contact list on the national SA websites. It is also impossible to send them a letter or to get a phone number for the national headquarters off the Internet. All that I can find is a toll pay number for the Greenwood center or an address for mailing correspondence. It would appear to me that an organization with the fine reputation of the Salvation Army would have either a national toll free number or at least an e-mail address for receipt request.
