Mike's muffler has always been professional and courteous. I would like to address the negative reviews first. The towing price is fair within town, they have a set price for within Greenwood and it's non-negotiable, but they are a service just like any other and that's the price; I know others have complained about it but I've never had an issue towing with them. Every time I take my car in they give me the best deal possible and call me before purchasing any parts my car may need. I once brought my car in for not starting and they found a loose wire, they did not charge me for fixing this. Most recently I brought my car in for a grinding noise in the front left wheel and they found an issue with my wheel bearing. While attempting to repair it they found my hub was bent. Typically this would cost bout $70 to fix where a shop has the available equipment (i.e Speedway and the like) but they had a family member that was able to replace it for $20. They only charged me that $20. My bill was quickly climbing due to what my vehicle needed replaced but they took off $10-20 here and there where they were able. When making the final payment Connie took off an additional $17. They always tell me I can bring my car back if I have any issues that are still present, but I've never had to. I am driving to Charleston in a few days and I'm completely confident in my vehicles performance now, the noise and grinding feeling is gone. I will always bring my car to Mike's Muffler! They are fair and always try and find me the best possible deal! Highly recommend.
I have finally found a place that I know in my heart that is honest and fair. When I called and then came into their establishment for the 1st time, September 2017, I knew that the Lord had sent me to a place that would help, and work with me. Thank you so much for being in the neighborhood. First impressions are important to me, and they really made a GREAT 1st impression with me. This will be the only mechanics that will work on my BMW.
I thought I was getting a good deal on a tow for my car. But when the guy showed up he was arrogant and wasn't listening to what I wanted him to do to avoid anymore damages. Already I had my left ball joint that had gone and his arrogance that caused me $150 worth of damages to what else I had to repair. I knew there was a issue with my car right away when I asked him to stop and he continued on do it anyway. Since it was late that night I decided to wait to call the owners during normal business hours the next day. When I called and told them what the driver did Sunday night they automatically got really defensive towards me, wouldn't listen to what I had to say. Their answers were " He's worked with us for 20 something years and has never done these things your accusing him of doing." So my advice to those that are looking for cheaper tows you get what you pay for as far as cheap goes.
they towed my truck about 2 weeks ago due to my fuel pump going out. only needed it towed about a mile down the road. the guy on the phone said it would be 55 dollars. i really thought that was to much but i just wanted to get my truck fixed. so then i went to the auto shop that they towed it to and the bill was 65 for some reason. so i paid at the auto shop and called and asked about the extra 10 dollars. he said it was for moving me 20 feet to a sideroad to take my trailor off. had a few words about that. now there calling me everyday saying i still owe my bill. i told them i had the receipt and everything. i dont know if they are trying to scam me or the auto shop is trying to scam them. i really was respectful and told the guy i would send him the reicept the auto place gave me but he just didnt want to hear it and kept giving me attitude. my latest call he threatened to turn it over to the police. im not the smartest person in the world but the police dont collect money or handle debt collections. (there is no debt to be collected from me.) oh almost fogot when he got there to tow my truck i told him i had someone coming to get the trailor but he said no ill just move it and take it off over here out of the way, not mentioning anything about it being extra. do not use mikes unless you anna be harassed and called about money you dont owe.
